Overview

NEONIQ’s vertically integrated model connects composite design, engineering, tooling, prototyping, testing, production, and assembly within one coordinated workflow. From an initial sketch or an existing design, we develop the component, select materials and processes, and create in-house tooling matched to its geometry, performance requirements, and production volume.

Design Studio

Our Design Studio turns ideas, sketches, existing designs, and product requirements into concepts ready for advanced composite development. From the very start, we consider form, function, geometry, advanced-material opportunities, and manufacturability.

Composite Engineering

Our composite engineering team works closely with the Design Studio to develop concepts into lightweight, high-performance, and manufacturable parts. From the earliest stages, we evaluate how material selection, fiber orientation, laminate construction, geometry, tooling, and manufacturing processes work together to achieve the required performance.

By engineering specifically for composites, we optimize strength, stiffness, weight, durability, surface quality, and cost, while ensuring each design is suitable for production.

Tooling & Process Development

Tooling and process development are engineered together at NEONIQ to ensure every composite part can be produced accurately, efficiently, and consistently. We design tooling around part geometry, material requirements, curing conditions, production volume, and quality targets. Each process is then refined for repeatability, cycle time, surface quality, material usage, and cost.

Prototyping

Prototyping turns concepts into physical parts, allowing designs, materials, and manufacturing processes to be evaluated before production begins. We use rapid prototyping and composite manufacturing techniques to verify geometry, fit, function, surface quality, and performance throughout development.

By building prototypes with processes and materials representative of final production, we help create a smooth transition from concept to production.

Testing & Validation

Testing and validation ensure that every composite part meets its intended performance, safety, quality, and durability requirements before it enters production. Our approach supports validation at the material, component, and full-system levels, helping confirm that designs perform as intended under real-world conditions.

By integrating testing early in the engineering process, we identify potential issues, reduce development risk, and accelerate design improvements which create a clear path from prototype to validated, production-ready parts.

Production & Assembly

Our production and assembly capabilities combine advanced composite processes, automation, and skilled craftsmanship to deliver high-quality components from low-volume programs through scalable production.

NEONIQ process capabilities include:

  • Compression molding
  • Autoclave prepreg
  • Resin transfer molding (RTM) / vacuum infusion
  • Wet layup
  • Assembly
  • Painting & finishing
  • Quality control

From individual composite parts to complete assemblies, NEONIQ selects the right manufacturing process for each program to balance quality, efficiency, cost, and production scale.
